Job Description

An exceptional law firm in Pasadena is seeking a Litigation Secretary to join their growing team. The ideal Litigation Secretary candidate will possess 3-5+ years of civil litigation defense experience, proficiency in E-filing (both state and federal), and a proactive attitude.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • E-filing in state and federal courts
  • Managing new case setups
  • Filing and maintaining case documents in iManage
  • Meticulously handling high email volumes.
  • Setting up court calls
  • Proofreading, editing, and formatting legal documents

Required Experience:

  • 3+ years of civil litigation experience; defense experience preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Thorough understanding of the California rules of civil procedure
